Manicures Level 1 – Basic $600
This 2 day 8 hour course covers everything you need to know about your standard spa manicure. You will learn the basics of product chemistry, anatomy, nail structure, bacteria and sanitation. We will cover multiple kinds of polish manicures and help students customize a routine specific to their personal goals. Classes are small from one on one, to just a few students, so personal and attentive attention to your learning needs and progress is always a priority. Models are needed or can be supplied if notice is given well enough in advance. Obsession provides all in class product and equipment for students, as well as a professional take home student kit.
This course runs one day a week for 2 weeks with product and client homework between classes. Dates are flexible and certificate of completion is awarded to successful candidates.
Manicures Level 2 – Advanced $600
Another full day is taken to acutely fine tune your manicurist skills to make you a master of the gel polish application. Learn to perfectly apply any polish or gel polish and even make your own custom colours. We cover spa add-ons like paraffin and the ways to market these specialized services. We also cover a few quick easy art forms to incorporate into your advanced manicures. This course also includes proper soak off nail removal for optimum fill times. Level 1 is a prerequisite, comes with $200 worth of professional gel polish supplies and materials, including LED light. Obsession provides all other in class product and equipment for student use. Models are needed for in class.
