Pedicures Level 1 – Basic $1000
This 2 day 16 hour essentials course covers the intricate and intense topic of spa pedicures. You will learn the proper techniques, basics of product chemistry, anatomy, bacteria, nail structure, geriatric foot care, as well as contraindications and cautions to this service. We will cover multiple kinds of pedicures and help students customize a routine specific to their personal goals. We teach sanitation in accordance with Alberta Health regulation. Obsession provides all in class product and equipment for students, as well as a professional student product kit and tools.
Classes are small from one on one, up to only four students so personal and attentive attention to your learning needs and progress is always a priority. Students are responsible to bring models for second in class day. A certificate of completion is awarded to successful candidates
This course runs one or two days a week with product and client homework between classes. Dates and times are flexible.
Pedicures Level 2 – Advanced $600
Take another full day to acutely fine tune your pedicurist skills making you a master of the gel polish application. Learn to perfectly apply any polish or gel polish and even make your own custom colours. We cover specialty pedicures Like the jelly pedicure, pregnancy and pedicures and the pedique. W also include spa add-ons like paraffin, therapeutic massage, essential oils and the ways to market these specialized services. This course also includes proper nail removal with both a hand file or soak off methods for optimum service times. Obsession provides all in class product and equipment for students, as well as a professional student kit including a take home jelly pedicure.
Pedicures level 1 is a prerequisite and models are needed in class. A certificate of completion is awarded to successful candidates
